Fantasy Football: Week 13 Waiver Wire

Week 13 Waiver Wire is very crucial for many reasons. Most of you will be starting your fantasy playoffs next week so Week 13 in general is super critical for everyone. Some have the luxury of walking right into the playoffs thanks to a number of variables. Others are throwing a hailmary just hoping that one of there players makes the big catch and carries them into the fantasy playoffs. Whether you are waltzing in or fighting tooth & nail, the Week 13 Waiver Wire is important to you. Two big TE’s went down this past week in Gronk & Graham as well as RB Chris Johnson and a couple others. It is also incredibly necessary that you pickup your starting RB’s handcuffs. You won’t see some of these backups below in the must add player list but guys like McKinnon, Powell, & Mason should be owned.

Below are your Week 13 Waiver Wire must add players of the week. For many teams this will be the last chance you have at making a waiver wire move that will truly make a difference for your squad. Remember, with our list we do not put players that are overly obvious. Some are sleeper, some are handcuffs & some will be more obvious then others. We will not often repeat players from last week as we expect anyone reading has added those guys. Let’s go!

Survival Tip: “Trust your instincts & make judgements on what your heart tells you. The heart will not betray you”

Week 13: Waiver Wire Adds

Jay Ajayi, RB, DolphinsThe offensive coordinator was fired for a reason. If you look at the Dolphins RB attempts last couple of weeks you will likely see why. With talented backs like Miller & Ajayi there is no excuse for the pitiful amount of carries they've received. Ajayi earns more & more carries on a weekly basis and Week 13 will be no different. Handcuff for Miller as well.
Daniel Herron, RB, ColtsGore's head coach said it himself that Gore is banged up. Bradshaw was just lost for the season. Herron is the guy who can benefit from both of these situations. At the very least he's Gore's handcuff.
Scott Chandler, TE, PatriotsGronk is out, so Chandler is one of those obvious adds. He's not Gronk and we wont pretend that he's even close. However, he's the Patriots starting TE and Brady trust him.
David Johnson, RB, CardinalsThe most obvious add of the Week 13 Waiver Wire column is David Johnson. With both C. Johnson & Ellington hurt for possibly extended periods of time, David Johnson is the starter now. You can feel comfortable starting Johnson any week that he is the unquestioned starter.
DeVante Parker, WR, DolphinsIt's about time huh? Many fans have been waiting on Parker to get his chance and he shined in the moment. His fellow Dolphin WR Matthews was injured last week & will likely sit out in Week 13. Add Parker & feel good using him.
The "Don't be that guy" Player of the WeekThis is where we list one player who too many people are going to add based strictly off of last weeks performance. Adding this player is a bad decision, although a popular decision, its one you do not want to make. Markus Wheaton will be added in all of your leagues but should not be. Do us a favor, don't be that guy, keep Wheaton off your team by leaving him on the waiver wire!
