Week 12 Waiver Wire has arrived with tons of new players to add thanks to injuries….again. I don’t know if its a matter of being in the moment or if its actual reality, but it seems like we have had more major injuries this season then in the recent past. In Week 11 we watched Forsett, West, Lynch and Freeman all get injured in ways that may cost them their season or at least a couple of games. I do believe the backups for the four players I just mentioned all need to be added in leagues. They will not all be as useful for as long as each other as some will be used only in Week 12 and some you will be able to start for the remainder of the season. This is an interesting group of waiver players you may be able to add and even those who did not make the list below but are good to speculate on will be guys like Coleman (ATL), Powell (NYJ) and Bradshaw (IND).
Below are your Week 12 Waiver Wire must add players that you will not want to miss out on. It’s late in the season so you cannot continue to hold onto players strictly because of their names. Remember, it’s not the name, its the game.
Survival Tip: “Leaders establish the vision for the future and set the strategy for getting there.”
Week 12: Waiver Wire Adds
|Tony Romo, QB, Cowboys||Romo came back last week from his injury and proved the Cowboys are just a better team with him at the helm. As Romo continues to shake the rust off he will proceed to put more and more points up for your fantasy team.|
|Javorius Allen, RB, Ravens||With the injury last week to Forsett the starting RB job will now be Allen's. We must remember that the Ravens also lost the teams starting QB Joe Flacco which may force them to run the ball more often also. Add Allen with confidence that you will be adding a RB who will have a ton of opportunities.|
|Thomas Rawls, RB, Seahawks||If you are a Lynch owner you should already own him, if you don't, get him now. If you're not a Lynch owner but you already have Rawls then congrats. You just gained a new starting RB. Rawls looks light years better then Lynch this season & will see much more playing time even if Lynch is healthy.|
|Devin Funchess, WR, Panthers||Cam Newton has been on fire all season long and a WR of his is starting to become his favorite target. Funchess was highly touted by some fans early in the season but is only now starting to live up to the hype.|
|Spencer Ware, RB, Chiefs||As of the time this article is being written we are still unsure the status of West going into next week. If West is out, Ware will be a must start. He must be added in all leagues especially for the West owners. Hamstring injuries can linger & continue to cause issues for West for the remainder of the season|
|Stash Reminder||We told you to add Brock Osweiler last week as a stash player and we are repeating it again this week. Last week he played well as we suspected he would & it's already been announced that he will start in Week 12 against the Patriots. If Brock continues to play well I would not be surprised if the Broncos sit Manning for the rest of the season while he recovers from his injury.|
