NFL fans, Green Bay Packer fans, and fantasy football fans…enough is enough. Everyone has piled on Eddie Lacy for his new look this past season (he was overweight), even his head coach Mike McCarthy said so himself.
“Eddie’s got a lot of work to do”
“I’m stating the obvious. His off-season last year was not what it should be and he never recovered from it. He cannot play at the weight he did this year.”
But it looks like those who joked about Eddie’s weight will have to find jokes elsewhere, because the man took the criticism to heart and obviously used it for motivation. Recently pictures of Eddie have hit the net and we are now looking at a slimmed down version of the Green Bay Packer’s RB. Fantasy Football fans for their own selfish reasons should be happy, as well as Green Bay Packer fans who will be watching a totally different RB this upcoming season diving into the endzone. Most of all Eddie Lacy himself should be happy, as much as people joke about it, weight gain issues are real and can be tough to deal. Hell, we at Clock Dodgers couldn’t be more proud of the man! What’s more important than football is the fact that Eddie looks to have taken his weight loss seriously and seems to be happy. The last thing the rest of the NFL teams want to face next season is a super focused, super fit Eddie Lacy.
I do want to give Eddie one tip if he hasn’t already thought about it…here’s your chance to capitalize on the magazine articles and maybe your own diet plan buddy! How long do we have to weight…err, wait, before we get to order our own copy of “The Eddie Lacy Secret to Weight Loss” book?
What is the secret you ask….?
Hard Work, secret exposed.
